Weapon Sales

Afternoon Chew

Gun sales are up 30 fold since the election. The nation has never seen such a spike in the purchase of firearms. I think it is so we can all protect ourselves from the crazy moose hunters and disgruntled Republicans. At least I hope so.

I find it interesting that Republicans are disgruntled by losing the election and not that their party has turned our country into a joke. What's more interesting is that in one day, our country went from being a joke to earning back some of its respect. So to make themselves feel better they buy guns, which happens to be another way to make themselves look ignorant.

Interesting...

Yes, but for some very real reasons that have not been chewed through on this afternoon chew. I am simply going to pose a question or two, answer them if you care to.

Do you think it is a bad thing that guns are flying off of the shelves at a record pace and why?

"What's more interesting is that in one day, our country went from being a joke to earning back some of its respect."

Why do you call our great country a joke, and how has you belief been changed in any way, upon any real grounds of measure?

While you decide a reply, I will consider this afternoon chew...

Moose stew à la Palin

Ingredients:
2lb moose, cubed
3 slices bacon, cut up
4 onions, quartered
4 potatoes, quartered
1 packet fresh/frozen green beans
3 bay leaves
4 carrots, sliced
1 packet fresh or frozen peas
1 tin tomato juice

Method:
Brown bacon in heavy pan. Add moose and brown on all sides. Add onions and sauté. Add all remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour or until flavors are mixed and vegetables and meat are tender. Remove bay leaves.

Enjoy!
